This self-paced module provides an introduction to blogging in distance teaching and learning. You explore blog features, uses, course examples, and guidelines. To reflect on your learning and experiences in the module, you'll keep your own blog in Moodle.
Gain an introduction to wikis and their uses in distance education in this self-paced course. You'll learn what a wiki is, explore the many possible applications, and consider guidelines for making your wiki project a success.
Podcasting Perspectives is a self-paced course being piloted with a group of volunteers from the DE Certificate Program. It's an overview of and introduction to podcasting that includes looking at examples, guidelines and resources for getting started.

This self-paced module pilot provided an introduction to blogging in distance teaching and learning. Participants explored blog features, uses, course examples, and tips and how tos. The module is now being revised and will be available after mid-February.
This pilot course explored wikis--the technology, uses and applications in distance education. The pilot has concluded and the module is being revised. The new version will be available after mid-February.
This project used Moodle for communicating and collaborating while exploring the use of an e-portfolio and social networking tool. The pilot has ended but the resources are still available to those who were participants.
